Resetting the password of my HP laptop with a USB flash drive .. PW What key?

I changed my password and totally forgot! I have Windows Vista and it says "password reset" when you click it was possible to insert a floppy disk or a USB key. I inserted the USB key and brought a password reset Wizard Top. but now says I need a hard reset Password? I do not know what it is and I need my laptop .. Is there a way to restore it? or help me withthe Passsword hard reset? Haha, oh technology and, obviously, if I do not know what was a password disk (: and what has not changed .. use it for a week then after all that happened .. I forgot what

Why change your password when you know your starting to forget? I had this problem in Windows XP Professional and inserted a special disk and can change the password. Although I might just have to call a professional.
