IHome wireless multimedia keyboard and optical mouse?

My wireless keyboard just stopped working, no lights, both in mice and the keyboard is running on a USB adapter and the mouse works fine I just can not get the keyboard to do anything (and yes I can put new batteries in it), what I do?

Register with the keyboard receiver. Press the record button on the receiver to transmit a signal. press the button at the bottom of the keyboard to complete the handshake. This should be turned. The USB is working well for the mouse, so it is not the problem. –
