Why is my Sony DCR-TRV19 Camera not appear when using Windows XP Pro SP2?
I installed almost all the available updates to Pro, and I have done all the uninstalling 1394 and reinstalling drivers and nothing has worked. At this time, all ports are free except for one that has the connected camera. The camera turns to the VCR mode enabled. I went to scanners and cameras and is only a scanner (the printer you have). I have moved the card PCI FireWire port to another. nothing. The card works with a large hard disk drive I have, so I know it's not the card. What else could it be? This camera worked when I had Windows XP Home Edition First Edition.
This sounds good card and / or camera are not compatible with this version of Windows. If possible roll back to Windows home edition, if not try to use backwords compatibility, if possible
