Why is my signal for a GE cordless phone 5.8GHz throw me out of my 2.4GHz wireless Internet?
I recently bought new GE 5.8GHz phone system wireless. We had an old VTech 900MHz buttons. Anyway, we now have our signal DSL Wireless, which is sent through a Linksys 2.4GHz, chased us when we receive an incoming phone call. In fact, if we're on the phone and the phone is near one of the notebooks or between the laptop and the router, the wireless signal, you can not even find. Can anyone help?
I use a wireless G router 2.4 GHz map and use a 2.4Ghz cordless phone set (3 phones) and have no problem at all. It seems that your wireless GE is outside the range of frequency or the production of excessive interference signal noise. I would switch to another brand / model wireless phone, or you may want to try the new Linksys Wireless N / radio card that uses multiple signals to increase strength and avoid interference.
