How do I use page protectors Creative Memories album?

I use an 8 1 / 2 X 11 scrapbook and I have guards, but do not know how to fix it or use …?

I'm not one of the 8 1 / 2 x 11, but they are like 12 x 12, are two sheets of film welded seam top and bottom with a very small and open to the left and right.
