How do I install a Canon MX310 printer on my computer?

I looked at the list of Canon printers on my computer (Microsoft) and MX310 wasn't listed on Canon's website, gives plenty of options to download such as hardware and firmware and other high-tech terms. that I download?

Go to Canon's support web site and download the drivers for that model for your operating system. Follow installation instructions. Often install the drivers before connecting the printer. Canon is very good with the instructions: download the driver and gives step by step installation instructions.
