How do I configure my Netgear router?

I have a Linksys wireless router. I have no wireless connection for my laptop warranty because we do not know how to configure it. Can anyone help?

Please follow these steps to enable WEP on your wireless router: Open the page router on the computer connected directly to it using the following steps: 1. Open your browser (Internet Explorer or Netscape). 2. Get the router (usually http://192.168.1.1). 3. Login to the router (User Name = admin Password = password if you changed) 1. Click the Wireless Settings menu left. 2. Select the security settings such as WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy). 3. Set the "Authentication Type" as "system open 4. Sets the strength of encryption, and 64-bit. 5. At number 1, type a 10-digit number 6. Apply the settings. The number to 10 digits would be needed to connect wireless router. Thus, the router network access is limited to only those who are aware of the key encryption. Before assigning the key router Make sure your wireless adapter supports encryption. Please ensure that the fundamental values should be the same in both wireless card and router. I hope this solves the problem.
